There’s a lot of us out there. And I've got some info that I think you’re going to want to hear.
An empath is someone who can deeply sense and absorb the thoughts, emotions and energies of their surroundings. This includes people, places, things, animals, and even nature. This makes empaths natural-born healers, listeners, and compassionate souls.
Being an Empath is great when you want to offer comfort and support. It helps you navigate the complex terrain of human emotion with grace helping people heal and grow. But this sensitivity isn't all rainbows and butterflies. The same ability that allows you to feel the joy and love of others, also exposes you to their pain, sadness, and negativity.
Some Common Struggles Empath's Face Are:
Emotional Overload: especially in crowded or chaotic environments. They often struggle differentiating their own emotions from others.
Energy Vampires: or the sick, angry and needy, often drain empaths leaving them exhausted and emotional.
Setting Boundaries: are challenging for empaths because they can feel others' disappointment so they prefer helping and pleasing.
The good news is that with the right intuitive and energetic training, it's easy to manage your empathic abilities. That way you can take the best and get rid of the rest, turning what could be a burden into a source of strength.
